$100 Logo Contest. Winner to be selected on 01/21

Logo contest open for 1 week, winner to be paid $100 for best logo in Adobe Illustrator Vector format.

We are looking for a new, clean, professional logo for our site, www.surfrate.com

Site color is Blue as you can see, so you'll want to work off that color scheme. Logo concepts should be simple and clean; we are not looking for an overly complicated design.

Surf Rate provides consumers with the "Best rates on insurance, loans & more."

You will note that I am an active DP member with many positive itrader reps, have posted logo contests in this forum previously, and will pay the winning submitter $100 via PayPal. I will also provide the top 3 finalists with positive itrader reps.

All logo designs should be posted in this thread for review and feedback. Final submission must be in Adobe Illustrator Vector format please.

Clarification: by PM, somebody asked if we will accept logo concepts done in Photoshop. We will consider .PSD raster format submissions but prefer vector art created in Illustrator, so this would be a consideration in our final selection process.

I would like to see something a little bolder, Odin. Also, not sure the graph works for this site, since the theme is more about rates than stocks.

jagannath - looks ok. I like the $ concept, but the shape around it looks a bit out of place.

Keep 'em coming; plenty of time left in this contest.

Some great concepts here already!
So far, I would say DRoP in in the lead, with neilparnham in 2nd place.
The blue and green (says money) works well, but so do the combo of light and dark shades of blue.
Electrix; not so sure about the swirly design.
RNHalawi.com - as noted previously, we will consider high res .PSD submissions but vector format is preferred.

I really, really hope you're satisfied with this entry. I spent an absurd amount of time (one hour and thirty minutes) because it was my first time using Illustrator. However, that does not mean I'm not open to changes, and feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
