Sorry ipod. I hope you won't be too dissapointed with me. Just because I am not too keen on the designs you submitted so far doesn't mean I am right. I think your last try is a definite improvement (the colours are still a little plain for my liking) but it's still not what I am after. Nevertheless it's an improvement.

 

It might help everyone if you could narrow down the colors you like. I'm not saying I'm going to ever get it right, but I am stabbing in the dark at the colors.

Do you have a picture in your mind of the colors you would like to see?

Ipod: I really like your attitude. Honestly, you don't seem too troubled if the ch sees things differently. Doesn't seem to bother you or at least you hide it well. In any case, it's just a small contest after all which is not going to improve your financial situation in a major way. regarding the colours, I did mention in my first post what colours I suggest: red, orange, blue, burgundy and white. These were suggestions, but I did mention I want something a little bright. Again, this is stated in my instructions.

For anyone else that doesn't know what I am on about: fade did a logo for the $1 competition. Two days later I am still shaking with laughter thinking of his logo. You got to check it out. ASM design also reckons it's a killer

What can I say? I mean.. you are challenging me. If I wasn't about to fall asleep, I'd give it another try. In fact, depending on where you are in the morning, I may try again with a clear head.

I've taken everything you have said as constructive. If I thought you were just being mean, then I might take it personally. But, I know you aren't.

 

I posted my last post while your entry was added so only now I saw it. It looks very promising. It has style and so far of all the icons yours looks the best. It has certainly got style and looks very professional. While I like the icon, I am not so sure about the fonts. Please don't feel like I am requesting changes, I am just providing feedback. Again, I have to have the contestants do changes only to end up choosing someone else's designs. Your entry is a strong one. I just feel like the effects on the font are too shiny and this is just a personal thing, I am not a big fan of reflections. If you must have reflections they must be very faint. Thanks again for the entry.

ipod: No. I am not being mean. I like your attitude. Allow me just a little advice: if you feel like I am annoying you or don't like my feedback or whatever just give it up. It's not called quitting, it's just not forcing yourself to do something that you don't want. However, for as long as you are entering the proteindude contests, you can expect honest feedback My time zone is Melbourne, Australia (I wish it was Southern California though).

Thanks for entering this aussie: Super Supplements does not sell any pills and sells mainly powders. I know this is something you didn't know but now you do. That is why the pill although well intended is not a great idea. Other than that I feel it is a little amateurish and just like you said I get the feeling you did this in a hurry. If you want to try again, use some more corporate fonts and a better more stylish icon. I appreciate your entry.

ASM, as if you needed to ask for feedback You know me, feedback is my middle name. Thanks for the entry. It's not quite what I am after but it's a good start. It's certainly got style and also has a relatively cool looking icon. I would like a slightly wider/thicker font and brighter colours. The strange thing with your entry is that I like it better in black and white. Overall it is a nice pleasant design and I am sure that with some small changes it could look much better as it is already close to what I am after.

Karmy: thanks for the try. It really isn't something I am after. It looks a little too cartoony. I need something more corporate, more profesional looking. I said I wanted something a little bright but yours is a little more than a little bright. I think for something more professional, a gradient like you used for the font does not really do it.

 

thanks for the feedback, i'm gonna work on it after i get back from college, seeing as the prize is high i'll put a lot of effort in, and come up with something spectacular (hopefully) lol.
