In my opinion, your symbol reminds a bit of a Turkish flag (star and half moon). I don't know how much is that acceptable for such US blog, but hey....it's only my opinion

We have decided to extend the contest to this Sunday. The owner of the site, has been much more impressed with the work of late compared to that of the beginning. I will be leaving specific feedback shortly, once i get to actually sit down with him instead of on the phone. Remember stay away from the American theme. It can have stars, but think more web 2.0.

 

Or both could be done a little more Web 2'er...
