Contest $100 logo contest (Paypal) - Smartphone app called uPic

    Hello!

    We are in the process of making a smartphone app, but we are lacking designers. Therefore we need your help. The winner of the contest would be the logo we think is the best, and the reward is 100$ + an opportunity to get at 60$ extra for improving our design/UI of the app.


    The app is named “uPic”. The app is a mixture of a game and a social media, and our main target group is people in the age between 14-25. The design in the app would be in multiple colors, with a clean modern design. This be straight lines, and large buttons.


    We want the logo in a clean modern design, and it may contain multiple colors. We don’t know if we want a logo with the name “uPic” inside the logo, like imdb or FedEx, or if we want it to be a logo with the name “uPic” underneath, like snapchat etc. The most important thing is that the logo is catchy and makes the app look fun. Feel free to add a suggestion for the icon as well.


    We will try to quickly give you feedback on your suggestions, and say whether we like it or not.

    Yes, we would at least like the logo be easy to covert into an icon. When we release the app it should be easy for the users to connect the logo with the name and the icon.

    We are thinking of using "uPic" in the logo. The app is more like Instagram, but with another way of sharing the photos.

    We think this is an ok first attempt, the blue color is good.. But the icon is not what we are looking for, it is too similar to the google play icon. And we want the icon to be connected to the app, which is about reacting quickly, to get an opportunity to share your picture (This icon is more like a play button for movies).

    Looking forward to seeing more suggestions from you!
