Thanks for your multiple design, just that is doesn't give me a feeling that the logo
belongs to a Interior Design firm....

unless a good design needs time to do alteration, if not I will end the contest
on Saturday 11 Aug 2013.

 

Color, Feel and Value are the major factors.

And the cross is way too much emphasis and look like a Church
logo if Reno is not in front.

The R seems to be weird, but overall looks neat,
another thing is the Reno+ and the slogan text
size proportion is way to far.

However, I feel you can come out a great design
with improvement from here.

Because you are way too far from my requirement,
it will not be fair for me to list from A-Z, the biggest
thing is, I mentioned the use of my listed color, RED
is not one of them.

Hi everyone, thanks for all of your contribution.

I like to take some time to address some common mistakes
so that the coming revision or new submission will be closer
to the winner's work.

1. Color selection
The color list I mentioned in the instruction is not a preference,
it is a MUST, and I give you the choice to use either 2, or 3 of
the colors.

I don't mind you use different tone of the same color, example
Blue in the same logo, as long as it can communicate the value,
but Please..... do not add other color choice like RED in it.

2. Logo Type
I requested for 2 logo type, both with the WORD: Reno+ in it, one
with a image and Reno+, and seems some people with creative ideas
make the + to be the image, I buy it, I love creativity.

3. Value communication
This is the most difficult, most challenging but also most important
thing. This give the life to the logo, and give the feeling when the
majority looks at the logo.
I hope the next one who revise the logo, or create a new one, read
the list below, and after that close your eye, and visualize how a logo
with this Values should looks like, then do a awesome design!

Logo should communicate these values
- Young
- Luxury
- Modern
- Playful
- Quiet
- Simple
- Subtle
