    Hi All,

We need a design for 2 boxes of pharmaceuticals (cream and liquid) belonging to the same product range. We are looking for some creative people who know what it takes to make a medical product good looking and valuable.

More information about our wishes is attached in the briefing. Also the package sizes together with the wording and the company logo is included in 2 png-files. We do NOT need this final layout as in the files, just the front page to see how it will look alike!

Here is how the contest will work.

We are going to leave this contest open for 1 week. It will end on Monday the 10th of December at the same time as it has started. At that time we will review all layouts and select the top 3. The first winner will be paid $80, the second winner $15 and the third winner $5 for their submission of the packaging layouts.
All prizes will be paid via paypal.

We will have all rights to the packaging layouts after the contest has ended and the transaction has been made.

Initial submissions may be made with .jpg images but the finalists will be required to send a fully editable file like Corel-Draw, Adobe illustrator, Adope Photoshop .

Good luck and I look forward to your submissions.

    Jutta Wenk

    I will submit something.
There is no logo for the actual product, just the company that makes it correct?

Good question. The text should be grouped together "as is" for legal reasons, so for example leave the 3 lines of product name together
You may change position of these groups, so the "25 g Creme N1" could be on top of the front page, but not on one of the other sides.
If you look on our other products you will see various options of placement

    Hi all,

Thanks for your package layouts. I showed it to my colleagues and both designs found friends. Just a few remarks to make the boxes better than they already are.

In general I have to add to our briefing that the font can be chosen by you. The only requirement is a good readybility. It is a consumer product, not Rx. This means it could be more like self-medication products in drugstores, so brand-orientated with colours and nice fonts. Something really between (or better in the middle of) a washing-powder and a hospital...

Let me start with you AcidicLeo. Your first design was appreciated and I will suggest to go on with this. We like the curves on the front page. However, an eye-catcher which helps the patients to remember the product is missing. Also the fully green side plates can perhaps be improved.

Hi Eruc, I like your proposal as well. The illustration covering all plates is quite a good idea. However, the viewer can not easily fix a point on the box which makes it hard to read the wording. My suggestion would be to orientate the illustration in the longitudinal direction and chose a lighter colouring.

I am looking forward to seeing your next proposals
    Jutta

The Following background could be integrated on all the Tags with different Sizes.

If you like the Design Let me know, the size of each Block and I'll design Accordingly.

Colour Schemes could be varied as shown.

@ design4u: Was Planned for Dec 10th 4:37 pm GMT (German time).
I guess we have to move this a little bit (lets say 2 days), as indeed its weekend now, and it might become difficult for us to give feedback to anyone before the date shown. Also on Monday for us this time is near to closure already.. while in the US its still morning and no chance for those people to react on any question/comment

    So 2 days more !

@Xavier_3D: A coloured background could be possible. the blue could be thinkable, the red ones are too aggressive. Difficult to say much more at this stage, as coloured backgrounds could be quite tricky to do. At the bottom 1 line instead of 3, as this would be better and also fit to the minimalistic corporate design requirement

With One Line as asked. The Colour Shade of Blue could also be Ligtened up, as in my Opinion People Prefer Coloured Medicines over Plain White ones. :)

@TDGraphics : not bad. Lets see what my collegues say. 2 comments anyhow already:
    - Please use company logo, usually placed at bottom of box
    - think about the other horizontal package - thats the majour difficulty here to find something fitting to both boxes..
