$100 homepage design contest for an apartment rental website, will pay via PayPal

I need a homepage designed for an apartment rental company and the style should be web 2.0!

This is the homepage that was designed but I don't like it at all and need something totally different:



Here are the 4 main things that need to be conveyed on the homepage:

1. Nice, attention grabbing "Sign-Up" button - think Twitter.com

2. Benefits of using the site such as "Communicate with your neighbor", "Research another apartment community - in Real Time - with residents of that community" and some other text along with a big picture of a lot of smiling people talking to each other.

3. Three step process window similar to this one where if the visitor presses on # 1 he sees one information, if he presses on # 2 he sees another and if he presses on # 3 he sees another...

The three step process should be 1) Find Your Apartment 2) Register for Free in Seconds 3) Move into Your Building (Virtually)

4. Most recent posts area where information will be updated in real-time. This area should have the following things: recent post itself, city, username and time when it was posted.

The website should also have things like a space for logo, all the links on the example I showed you, Connect with Facebook button, Facebook "Like" button near the logo, username and password fields along with a login button, and a big visible search field and search button!

Also there should be this text somewhere on the site where it will be visible - "240,000 Apartment Communities Nationwide and growing!"

I really tried to get the animation off the forum but I don't find the edit button at all ? It is just me or the button is not available ?

edit : it seems, the edit button is available only for a short period of time, as I could edit this post.It will disappear after some time .

 

Just delete it from photobucket, it will disappear here as well ^^
