7 Day Contest: We need a logo for a new website "Mutant Nutrition" The company distributes bodybuilding supplements so the target market is male weight lifters who want to get huge. Keywords to describe the 'feel' of the website include: masculine,aggressive,MUTANT,superhuman,mutations,angry,testosterone,post-apocalyptic,inhuman,beast,chemical,scientific This is the definition of 'mutant' from a wiki: "In biology and especially genetics, a mutant is an individual, organism, or new genetic character, arising or resulting from an instance of mutation, which is a base-pair sequence change within the DNA of a gene or chromosome of an organism resulting in the creation of a new character or trait not found in the wild type. The natural occurrence of genetic mutations is integral to the process of evolution." So the idea is these guys are going to take these supplements in order to make themselves evolve into something superhuman, and the design must reflect that! WE DO NOT WANT the design to be: Cheesy Corporate Cartoony COLOURS: Black/dark grey and then either orange, green, red or yellow Below is a download link to some images that should help you get a feel for what we're looking for: http://www.sendspace.com/file/lzrpxi We really like the font in image: P1030241 something like that would be ideal, then take the images of nerve cells etc. as inspiration for some kind of image for the logo. We need two versions. 1) image + full text "mutant nutrition" (make the word 'mutant' stand out more) 2) image that includes "MN" inside it, and no full text $100 is much more than I would normally pay, I'm bidding $100 to attract the best designers. So we're looking for a high quality logo, obviously we're not going to pay for a poor entry, but I've had success in ALL of my previous contests so I'm confident one of you will come up with something. Maldita has submitted a very strong entry but it's text only at the moment - I like the symbol mantisart has done - his text is to clean. Please read the brief carefully everyone!
UPDATE My client has decided he doesn't want green now, is it possible you could do 3 versions - One red - one orange and one yellow - the orange and yellow must be bright, almost neon. We think the background of the website will be something like this: http://www.bodyshapersfitness.com/ So please take that into consideration when choosing colours. I'm going into hospital on Monday until Tuesday for an operation on my arm so I'm extending the deadline to Thursday 23rd December. We have 3 really strong entries now, we have asked for changes on all 3 of them so nobody has got it perfected yet and there is no clear winner so keep them coming!
