I've been sending numerous PMs and emails to her for over a month now but it seems she just doesn't care...

I paid for 20 articles and got only 5... And almost two months later she's still ignoring my emails! What to say...?

    Just this:

DO NOT ORDER ARTICLE WRITING FROM CONTENTCZAR !!! YOU'LL JUST GET RIPPED OFF...

    Point taken nervo! ;)

Unfortunately I have prepaid for $350 worth of articles from Contentczar and not received one single article. I have all her PMs though to back me up. I think that I no longer have any option but to approach PayPal and file a complaint.

Mel, if you read this, just send me a PM and lets get it sorted. :)

I have prepaid for 100 articles too. Some well meaning DP members warned me against using ContentCzar, but I felt (and still feel) that Melanie is ok. I hope (and believe) that she will send me my articles.

I think sometimes that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Next time, you might just want to consider working in smaller dollar amounts. I have worked with some people here who take payment as you go along. They deliver, then you pay. Seems to be the best way to work. I keep harping on this, but for bigger work, I still would rather use rentacoder because money sits in an escrow until the work is done and you sign off on it. You might up spending a couple more dollars but you know you are protected.

Now in fairness, I wouldn't use this example as a gauge for using other people here. I have worked with some very honest people such as Tesla and Jeepla for content writing and Sunil, Westhaven, Alfredo (article submission) who have provided a great service.

I also prepaid for a lot of articles, but I'm not ready to worry yet. My take is that Mel took on too much work too quickly. I still have hopes that I'll end up getting quality articles for a good price in the end. It may end up taking longer than I wanted, but such is life.

    cheers

I can say that I did eventually receive all of the work. Just not in the timeframe specified.

I too placed an order to her about 3 months ago, and only got a few of them.

I PM'd her several times and once in a while she would reply back. On March 1st, after asking her to refund the money for the articles she didn't deliver, I got this message in my PM:

As you see, she said she had all my articles ready, but I am yet to get any of them.

I feel bad for her, if this happened, but still....

I have waited 3 months for my ebook. I just filed a complaint on paypal and unfortunately it was too late to get refunded.

If she does not refund my money or deliver this ebook I will take her to small claim's court and I suggest you guys do the same.

Even if I just get an injunction it will be worth it, this is turning out to be a scam.

One of the problems with filing a complaint with paypal is the fact that if the person already had their account cleared out, their is nothing that paypal can do to recover any funds.

The smartest thing to do is to work out a plan where you DO NOT pay 100% for work until it is done. I recently went through this and have become very careful with whom I deal with. For any major amounts of work, use a service such as rentacoder. You might pay a little more money, but you are backed by the company if you do not receive your work because the money sits in escrow and the coder does not get any of it until project completion and you sign off on it.
