Over at Vaugn's One Pagers there is a list of 100 things which Google considers - pro and con - in evaluating a page. A great reference though we all may disagree as to the precise weight each variable has.

No new information there, but it's always good to have a list like that in front of you.

This is great reading. I printed it and pull it out to remind of steps to take...since there are so many. Some of it is subject to interpretation but it is very right on. A great resource.

Wow... great list. It's nice to see it all in one place. I really like the fact that the author repeated many times that the factors are assumed, guessed, or otherwise speculative. It comes off as very professional.

Nothing new at all. And this note is not true " if keyword is competitive, commercial Adwords must be purchased." LOL what kind a note is that...

You know, I thought the same thing too. This list has been around for a while. The site is somewhat helpful, but I don't think it is necessary to purchase Adwords to gain in the SERPs. I am not sure it is a factor at all. ;)

I dont think there is any relations between Adword listing and SERP results. Adword terms clearly mention that. I have been using Adword for long. But dont see any difference
