Hi Everyone, I'm looking for a template design for Ultimate Pub Quiz. Overview of website: Website will be for pub owners to register their pub and then input scores for the teams that play at their pub quiz each week. The website will show TOP 500 teams in the UK. Approximately 15 - 25 pages will be static pages (Who we are, What we do, How the quiz works, How to sign up to the quiz as either a pub/bar owner or a quiz player) and so on. The site will also require a search facility so potential quiz players can tap in their post code and find there nearest participating venue. Design Should: The design should have a white background. Looking for something that uses black, orange, and blue but this isn't essential. Be creative. Logo hasn't been decided yet so be creative in that area as well (although not essential to design a logo). Logo will be "Ultimate Pub Quiz". Ideally on the homepage we'd like a map of the UK with the regions SW, SE, Midlands, N, and Scotland. This will be used as a way of users to find their local participating pubs. If you use boxes make them rounded. Overall site must be bright and colourful. I look forward to seeing your designs!
I think someone else posted this exact job didn't they? For like $1200 or something. I dunno, just seem to remember it. The contest is for 15-25 pages for $100? Also, just wondering...you're a layout designer yourself? Save yourself the money and do it yourself heh Good luck anyway.
Hey Davey, Yeah someone posted the project as a whole for that much (which I took on), but this is just for an uncoded design. Also, I only want the homepage designing - I added the 15-25 pages so that people would know to leave space to add links to the other pages etc. And yes, I am a layout designer, but unfortunately the designs I produced weren't what the client was after. And the client asked me to add this contest onto Digital Point on his behalf (so I'm not cheating! ) Just to be clear: I just need an uncoded PSD of the homepage. Thanks!
Ah sorry, i wasn't doubting you just confirming stuff If I get the time, i'll fire an entry up here - if not, i'll leave it to some of the geniuses on here! Sure you and your client will be happy with what's coming!

Ok everyone, the prize for this contest has now been put up to $200! My client likes these two sites: http://www.redtoothpoker.com/ & http://www.pokerinthepub.com/ This is what he said "Take a look at www.redtoothpoker.com - I like the header, the layout and the way they have used the colour a cross between this and the poker in the pub site would be pretty good, hope this helps." I created this design from that: And this is his response: "I like it better but it is still not what I want. I want the header to really jump out with colour site needs a little bit of flash to catch the eye* I like the header on Redtooth Pokers site, but I also like the little flash banner underneath, it makes the site stand out, Poker in the pub have done the same thing with the recruitment box on their front page, it makes the whole page stand out." * (you don't need to do any flash but if you can create an image that would look good in flash that would be great). I repeat: this contest is now for $200!
