$100 for a logo / letterhead / vehicle livery

    Hi

I'm looking for a logo that will serve 3 purposes - a website logo, printed on my company letterhead, and it also needs to (possibly) work as part of my (yet to be bought) company van.

Mine is an IT related company - PC sales, support etc., and also web hosting.

Like simple rather than too fussy, but needs to look 'classy'. Open to whatever colours you think will work - but bear in mind the website background is usually white, as is the van and the letterhead paper!

$100 if I pick a winner! (Paypal only if that's OK)

Yeah, sorry about that .. I forgot the important stuff!

The company name is Grove Networking. Most of my work is based around a small, very wealthy area of the UK - the kind of place where Manchester United players live (and whose houses I visit quite often!). Have a look at the site in my sig to see the kind of area I work in.

So the logo needs to be on the 'high class' side, and needs to be very readable - I'm not into these caligraphy / handwriting kind of fonts etc.

I don't have a slogan or tagline as such.

This might be as simple as making something of the G and the N in the company name - it just depends what catches my eye!

    Good luck!

I'll enter this tonight, most likely. Is there an end date for the contest?

No end-date yet .. can't let it go on for too long though. Not sure what the general time-frame for these contests is. Got to be at least a few days to give people time.

Simple and abstract. I didn't know if you'd like the G in the circle so there's two variations without it at the bottom.

Thanks for the entries so far .. any more?

I like the more simple, snappy, vibrant (but not garish) look.

Thanks for all your efforts so far ...

CelaCG - I like the boldness and readability. I'd like to see a bit of colour (of your choice)

Odin93 - I can definitely see that on my van. I like it.

nabz - the first one is great. hadn't thought about those colours.

neilparnham - as above, nice designs.

I haven't spotted one that 100% jumps out at me yet. CelaCG has the edge for simplicity and readability.

Sorry Hecky .. didn't mean to exclude you!

Yes, I like the grey/green. My gut reaction is that I prefer slightly bolder colours.

My main thoughts are that being on a van as well as website / letterhead, this is going be a permanent advert so I need it to stand out.

I'm thinking now of a modern snappy, almost cartoony computer-related icon to the left and then some snappy text ...

.. is the term I'm looking for "Web 2" like?
