    Hey,

We've recently acquired www.ebabee.co.uk and are looking to do a fair bit of advertising over the coming weeks.

We would like an A4/A3 leaflet created to advertise Ebabee.co.uk, with the emphasis being on things such as it being a 'parenting community' and 'a place to sell baby goods' (not quotes).

The leaflet will be going out with all orders from www.theinternetbabyshop.co.uk, so we have a targeted market, we just need the leaflet get the Ebabee name out there.

Further to this, we don't have a proper logo. Obviously the Ebabee.co.uk in the squares is the main focus point, but it would be nice to have a logo to go alongside this. It doesn't have to be big or fancy - something simple and basic will probably be better in this instance. Feel free to revamp the Ebabee.co.uk in the squares if you think it would make a good logo.

It's not exactly a logo, but we do quite like the blue shooting star that's in place of a logo at the moment. So if it was something like this, then great, however we are open to all ideas.

    Notes
Apart from the basics above, we're leaving it up to you - we have no real idea what we would like in terms of design, so feel it better to do it this way. If you require any images from the website, please just let me know.

    Time Scale
My Colleague is going to be the one who gives the final decision on this, and she's on holiday all next week, so the time scale will be from today (01:00 on Tuesday 12 February 2008 GMT) to Friday 22 February 2008 at 19:00 GMT. However, we would like to see a selection of entries before this 19:00 Friday 15 February 2008.

    Prize
    1st Place - $100
    Runner Up - $10

    Payment
Payment will be ideally made through PayPal, however e-gold and Moneybookers may also be an option.

    Many thanks

    Dan

I think the lack of interest is related to the prize you are offering. It is a low prize for both a logo and a full A4 poster i'm afraid. Maybe you will see some interest but I am just trying to advise you :)

Thanks Davey - I'm so used to working in dollars on DP, it's my fault -

The prize fund is £50 / $100. $90 for chosen design, and $10 for the runner up.

If a mod could change the title and edit my original post, it would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Dan

No probs mate, we all make mistakes! ;)

By the way, A3 is pretty huge for a leaflet - do you mean A5 maybe?

This is why I don't do the designing!

Originally, I was thinking it would be in A4 the majority of the time, but I would like to be able to use it as A3.

Now you have both mentioned that, i'm thinking why would I need it as big as A3?

    So scrap that idea!

    A4 or A5.

If it's done as A4, I can reduce to it A5 size, right?

    Cheers

Aye you can do that no bother.

Having it as large as possible does help for the future but if you have no need for A3, then just accept entries on A4 canvas, easier really! ;)

    Cheers Davey.

A4 it is then. And for those who are skimming down the thread and not reading the updates...

Leaflet is in A4 only - NOT A3

    Cheers

Just a quick reminder - if possible, it would be good to see a few entries by the end of today. The final deadline isn't until next Friday, but it would be great if we could see a few entries by 19:00 GMT today.

    Many thanks

Due to the lack of interest, I have a decided to put a hold on this thread.

We will discuss our needs and pricing today, and I will either re-open this thread, or post a new thread with the new contest.

Thanks to the people who expressed interest - I will contact you all by PM to give you details of the revised contest.
