Missed this question earlier. Sorry about that:

My contests allow unlimited entries and revisions per person. The only limitation is the time limit.

Next time guys! Join my group (in my signature) for updates on my contests.

JR: Get your Internet fixed already! ;) You're a really good designer. I like the contests you enter.

SabTech: Thanks for the supprtive words. I love hearing what other people thing of the designs. That goes for everyone in the contest, by the way. Feel free to let me know which design is your favourite and why. Only kind words, please (don't want to hear about how horrible a design is...).

Everyone: Just finalizing some of my comments. I will be posting them all once so it is fair for everyone. The comments this time are about 2-3 times longer and more detailed than my previous contests.

Once I post my comments, I will send out PMs so you guys do not need to keep checking the contest.

    Hey Oneawesomeguy,

    Thanks for letting me review.
Being a professional graphic designer myself, I personally really appreciated mikeee's beige design (his revision he said) as it is professional, theme based high quality and it is unique.

What I have seen from all others is they have kinda the same idea but i noticed something different in mikeee's design. He tried several colors of which the green and blue also are great but his final touch(the beige) is simply awesome.

I feel that his layout will really attract people and personally i will prefer read on a clean and professional site.

The beige touch with the green header and the way he in-crusted the picture in the header is just too great and it has a natural feeling/touch to it which really amazes me.

Apart from mikeee's design i really appreciated 2-3 more but i prefer not to mention because that will cause indifference :) I prefer to comment on the only 1 I like other wise if i comment on others i will have to comment on all hehehe....

Well, I will conclude with a Best Of Luck to all participants and I would just say I will surely take part in 1 of your contests next time and I will be competing with some of the best designers I have seen in here, especially mikeee who did a really amazing job.

That's it for my comment :)
Again Best of Luck all and specially mikeee who got my personal liking. I really wish you win this dude you *Hats Off to you*
    Thanks,
    SabTech.

Thanks for the review. Anyone else is more than welcome to add their own reviews. I like hearing others' opinions as long as everything is constructive. :)

Okay, now on to the good stuff. Hopefully worth the wait :)

It is a little bit of a different format. Hope you guys like it. Here they are:

    PAGE 1: POSTS 1-20

    manhst (post 7)
    • What I liked: I liked how you maintained the small company feel. I liked how the structure of the website did not change too much and how you only improved the design. The customer testimonials as well as the picture gallery right on the first page is great.
    • Somewhere in between: I liked what you did with the logo, but I am not sure people will know it is a logo. I also liked the call to action to "reserve" right on the top of the home page, but I think it could use some graphic adjustments.
    • What could improve: I would love to see more graphics and pictures. With the exception of the picture gallery, there is nothing too stimulating to look at. I would love to see some different colour schemes.

    vtopaloff (post 9)
    • What I liked: The colours are beautiful. The off-centre layout is really unique (I really loved it!). The added picnic basket on the bottom right is really wonderful as well. I also liked the testimonials section with little images for each testimonial: it makes each one more unique.
    • Somewhere in between: The call-to-action to "reserve" is really nice on the side of the page like that, but I am worried someone may miss it. Perhaps putting another "reserve" spot another place on the page would be good?
    • What could improve: I would love to see some different typography for the logo and text on the page (specifically the titles). I did not like the Web 2.0 features seen in the menu and logo (i.e., the gradients, the rounded corners, and the big buttons).

    ClixDistrict (post 10)
    • What I liked: Your call-to-action to "reserve" is really good. It is very clear at the top of the page. The best of all the entries so far. I really liked your use of white/empty space.
    • Somewhere in between: I liked your use of the colour blue, but would have liked to see a little more colour diversity with some matching colours.
    • What could improve: The picnic basket looked stretched out. I do not like "Web 2.0"-style gradients as seen in the logo. The small image size and "sample" written all over made it hard for me to see the design. For future contests I will change my policy on "sample" text and PMs to improve your security and help me judge the designs better.

    cleverBrand (post 11)
    • What I liked: This is one awesome design. The colours in this design are so unique. Nobody else in the contest used this colour scheme and I rarely see it on a website. The typography and bolding of text was pretty cool. It really shows how much time was put into this design. Not really part of the design, but I really liked how you put the design into a browser window. Little things like that and adding all the pictures to the gallery go a long way.
    • What could improve: I was not a big fan of the teal colour. I matches well with the design and the colour scheme your choose, but just personally I thought the colour is not the nicest to look at :)

    stardesigns99 (post 12)
    • What I liked: I liked that you included two different colour schemes. Little things like this do really go a long way. I liked the colour you used for the logo and how it really stands out in both designs. I really liked the three pictures in the header and how they were layed out.
    • Somewhere in between: I like the typography on the page, but did not like the yellow colour used in the text headers. The photo gallery looks like, with pictures, it would look really nice as well.
    • What could improve: I did not like the lime green colour or icon used for the phone / 'call us' so much. I did not really liked the yellow colours used in the menu and the header. I felt as the yellow did not match well.

    roadrunner12 (post 17)
    • What I liked: The entire right column is really great. I like the map, the spot for reservations, the phone number, and a little testimonials spot. I like the simplicity of the page and how it still gives the small company feel.
    • Somewhere in between: I liked the colour scheme with the green and light blue, but would possibly like to see those colours slightly tweaked to improve their contrast and appeal. I liked the placement of the 'reserve' graphic, but would like to see colours that match more with the design. The yellow really sticks out (which is really good!), but it looks a little bit strange when considering the rest of the design.
    • What could improve: I do not usually like gradients and mirror effects seen in the menu and header of the page. I would like to see some dark grey text to make it easier to read.

    leetsooc (post 20)
    • What I liked: I loved the colours. The reserve area is really attractive-looking as well. The menu is great. The clouds in the background are nice too. I also really like both logos (the main on at the top and the little one at the bottom). The entire footer area is really nice.
    • Somewhere in between: This design is really pretty. Some elements of the design however do not fit the brand/image of the company. See below.
    • What could improve: The 3D leaves in each corner do not fit well. They might be a little too fancy for the company's image which I want to keep as 'small and professional'. The picture with the wine does not fit in well either as unfortunately in this country, alcohol is almost always associated with partying. The paragraph typography could improve slightly with more spacing between the lines and paragraphs and a slightly larger font size.

    PAGE 2: POSTS 21-40

    DearaDesigns (post 22)
    • What I liked: The logo and logo font is great. The white matches well with the blue chosen as the main design colour. The testimonial design is really good as well. I like the cursive. Even though it is just a font, it makes it seem a little more personal. The picture gallery at the bottom is really great as well. I love the little mini descriptions. I liked the background and slight fading used to make the design pop-out.
    • Somewhere in between: The design looks like it is for a small company or something similar which is what we want to do, but some elements of the design make the company appear 'too small' to the point where it is not as professional. See below.
    • What could improve: The blurred header image concept seems to be a good one, but I did not like how it turned out. Also, the font over the image at the right looks a little out of place--you may want to get rid of it all together. The font used on the menu is not as corporate or professional as I would have liked.

    ClixDistrict (post 23)
    • What I liked: I liked the use of black/white in this design. I like it when people take risks like this and do something different with their design. The menu and the black line above the page fit very nicely together. The off-center footer is something I really liked.
    • Somewhere in between: The logo is nice, but the spacing of the text is a little awkward. I would like to see a more compact logo/text. I had the same issue with the 'reserve' area. It looks good, but the spacing/placement is a little strange. The main header picture looks nice and could work, but I would love to see a picture with more middle-aged adults (since those are the primary target).
    • What could improve: I am not sure if it was just my lack of understanding of how to use the website servimg.com, but I could not see a sample of the design bigger than about 300x300px. The spacing of the main content and sidebar is also a little weird. I would have liked to see less off-center white space as seen in the left column.

    chemicalinck (post 27)
    • What I liked: Of all the designs, yours is the one that shocked me the most when I first saw it. I said, "What? Red...? That is so shocking..." Or something similar. But I really like it. This goes back to that whole concept I keep talking about of trying to do something different with these designs. Only about three designs to this point really did something different. I just really liked the bright red for the picnic theme. Red fits is very nicely with green and it just works.
    • Somewhere in between: The main header picture's colours are really nice, but I would love to see some more middle-aged adults interacting. Children are good, but they should just be a minor part of the picture. I generally do not like the little icons similar to the ones you used, but thought these were okay (on the borderline, but still okay).
    • What could improve: The menu was a little difficult to read behind the dark red colour. Maybe make the menu more bold or slightly bigger? Maybe have it in white? The title was a little hard to read since there was very little space between the words.

    ClixDistrict (post 28)
    • What I liked: It is very subtle, but I like the new logo you made. I also like your use of green although maybe it is a little too much (see below). I liked having darker colours at the top and moving down the gradient as we go to the bottom. I felt as this made me want to move my eyes down the page and continue reading.
    • Somewhere in between: The pictures used at the top were really great. If a couple of them had some middle-aged adults interacting, they would be perfect. The picture gallery looks like it would be really nice. I would love to see some actual pictures in those boxes to see what they would look like :)
    • What could improve: The text layout in both the main content area and the sidebar feel off-centered and slightly awkward. There is a little too much white space to the right of those areas. The green colour by itself is not the best colour for this website. Adding a little more white or light blue would probably help a lot. Right now, I feel as there is just too much green.

    eCover Designer (post 29)
    • What I like: The testimonials section looks really nice. I love the clouds and grass in the header image. The picture gallery looks good as well.
    • Somewhere in between: The text typography is nice, but I would love to see the font a slightly grey colour. Dark grey always tends to look better than pure black. The header image looks nice and friendly, but I want it to be a little more corporate-looking with more middle-aged people and children only a minor part of the image. Or at least more families interacting.
    • What could improve: The design looks a little outdated. I think it is due to the boxes surrounding the content and the dark green and blue used.

    vinpkl (post 30)
    • What I like: The colours--the are absolutely beautiful. The contact form right on the home page is great! The menu and footer are great too. Testimonials with a 'read more' link is nice since it saves some space on the home page.
    • Somewhere in between: I like the reserve spot at the right of the page, it would surely improve sales. One problem is that it looks so big and intimidating. Also, it makes the website look like a car insurance website or something. Changing the design of the reserve spot a little bit or removing some of the fields would surely improve this.
    • What could improve: I know I said I wanted this sales oriented and you surely succeeded. I think it is so sales-oriented that it may even prevent some sales (if that even makes sense). I would say to tone it down just a little :) One example would be to remove or reduce the banner on top of the header picture.

    mikeee (post 31)
    • What I liked: The brown/pale colour scheme is really good. The light blue is my second favourite, but let me focus on the pale design for the rest of these comments. The two pictures in the header with the picture of the picnic basket.
    • Somewhere in between: I like the exclusive price banner thing, but would love to see it designed slightly different. I did not like the green text or the background too much.
    • What could improve: The menu could be moved slight down and to the right so it is in the middle. The testimonials could either be expanded a little or the whole sidebar can be reduced. The white space in the testimonials area is a little too much. The little 'reserve' banner on the logo can be removed entirely. I did not like the green shaded used in the design too much: it makes the design appear a little bit dated.

    suke (post 32)
    • What I like: The icons behind the menu are done really nicely. I really like them! The testimonials section and the footer is very nice as well.
    • Somewhere in between: I like the reserve button at the top of the page, but the colour looks a little strange. I like the main text and the sidebar, but they could use a little more "jazzing up". Something as simple as adding some more images or colours to the page would accomplish this very well.
    • What could improve: I did not like the really white icons next to the testimonials title. Maybe fade them a little bit or remove them all together?
    • Unsure: I was unsure of the background of the page. Is it transparent or is what I am seeing the actual background? I would prefer the background to be white or a light colour without the grey lines.

    Ace2016 (post 35)
    • What I like: The colours used make this design very professional and one of my favourites. The gradients used in the background add to the professionalism. I love the slogan put on top of the main header image. I loved the way you modified the logo.
    • Somewhere in between: I really like all the call to actions right at the top right of the page, but I would add an a link or a quick way for people to reverse with a contact form somehow (even if it is a link to another page). I did not like the image used for the header of the page. I know it is the main image used on the current website, but it is not the highest quality image (not sure if there is anything that can be done to improve this).
    • What can improve: The whole design is really great, but I would love to see some more design work done on the main content areas, specifically: the main content text, the pictures, and the testimonial areas.

    dechapoe (post 37)
    • Nice to see you again too!
    • What I liked: The font is great! The whole right side of the page is really well-constructed. I really liked the main text area, the picture area, and the two boxes at the bottom.
    • Somewhere in between: I liked the idea of putting the address right on the home page, but did not like the font used and the little icon next to it.
    • What can improve: The theme appears to be very beach-related, but the location is more nature/park based. There are no beaches near the location for this park. The beach theme does not fit in very well. Lastly, I would move the two bottom boxes ('reserve' and 'services') to the top so they can be seen right away (perhaps also flip them so that services is to the left and reserve can be seen more easily on the right). The testimonials could move up a little tiny bit so it is more prominent and the footer could be centered so it looks better.

The contest will be open for revisions for 24 hour. Good luck everybody!

    Here Is my revised Version
And thank you SabTech for your appreciation to my design. I am happy you like it.

I decided to go to colourlovers and find all the best colors to make this a kinda a perfect and unique design

I removed all green text and bg because you didnt like it and replaced by brown beige and other color mixtures i found attractive on colourlovers. Since you like the brown/pale beige color i thought to make it this way.

I also removed the tag completely and replaced it by a better one with a different style and location to make it hit the eyes of viewers.

I also covered the "white" spaces you didnt like with a simple beige bg to make a contrast between the text and the pale beige design all round.

Finally, I moved the navbar to the middle and added a little thing to it so wen someone navigates through it they will know on what link they are.

I hope you like this one .. I really Did my "bestest" and i really hope it will be chosen.
I am ready to do unlimited edits :)
