I run sites that are a little different than blogs, i run reviews sites. I have been at it a while and just now starting to do okay.

I think that they keys to my success are:

Picked topics that I enjoy. The reviews sites that had uninteresting topics were not that successful, because I did not want to that research.

Realized that I needed to create content that people are interested. It is not enough to copy and paste information from manufacturers sites. Visitors want a humans input on it.

Started working on it full time. I went to work for myself designing websites for others. That pays the bills right now. In my spare or down time I am developing my review sites to hopefully pay the bills in the future.

I've been doing AdSense for 3 months now, and right now we're hovering around $10-15 / day... I'm aiming for that $100 / day as well.. hopefully it wont be too long

 

Traffic is the key to making money with any site. If your site gets traffic, then 10, 20, 100, 200, etc a day is not a problem. So, it all boils down to "how to get more traffic" question.

 

The only thing you need is visitors, the money will come. Just concentrate on getting visitors to your site. Placement of ads are very important too.

This is the key.

Build content that gives answers but not all of them. If you have all the answers, they have no need to clickidy click click your ads. Most clicks come from newbies of the internet, webmasters seem to go to source using engines.

So don't talk about a subject which is aimed at webmasters or any internet savey users.

Build content that makes people have to and want to click, no matter how many times they visit your site they need to continue clicking so you don't have to SEO much. A hint would include celebrities. Not a high paying keyword, or subject, but gathers many millions of clicks on one of my sites. And this is near the bottom of my most valuable keywords.

I started hitting 1k per day after I used ????P????M????M????E????.

Before that I was making around 5k per month for 2 years. But after I used this program, I made more than 12k in the month just after I used this program, which took about a week to start building. It basically doubled my income.

A lot has to deal with if you are going to be investing some money into advertising also. If you have the funds to advertise your blog, then it would reach $100 a day sooner.

A better question would be, "How much patience is required?"

After a hot start, I've been faced with a few obstacles now.

My CPC drops down severely, so I figured out how to fix that by removing ads.

After I fix my CPC, my CTR drops down. I check my stats and see that the majority of my visitors are repeat visitors. Appears they've developed ad blindness.

Now, I need to figure out how to get new visitors.

It's a constant battle at times, it seems.

 

10 secons to 50000 years. This question can't be answered with any accuracy. If you have a good blog, good marketing, and stuff, you can easily do it in a week. If you don't have exceptional blogging skills, Prepare to wait a long time.

 

Not quite true, any job can be outsourced. All one needs is to do the cost/benefit analysis and find the right people/writers for the job. There are a lot of very successful people on ClickBank that do not know how to spell and write a grammatically correct sentence but they own and rip benefits from selling highly popular eBooks....

 

You 'lucky bastards' -dear Sirs, dear Madams - running at 100$ dollars a day, how much traffic do you need per day to sustain such a rhythm?

 

I have no idea, but I'm pretty sure you need more than about 50 uniques a day, because I only have gotten about 3 cents in the past seven days...

... its going to take awhile!
