Selling 100% Custom Programmed Social List Website - HUGE POTENTIAL!

I'm selling ListZe.com. Everything is 100% custom: the polished design and the programming (no script).

This was an idea I had a while back for a social list website. I saw lists being submitted to Digg and Reddit all the time, and I thought if a site was properly built, it could harness all that social media love and become huge.

Unfortunately around the time I finished this site, I became really busy, and now I have 3-4 other large projects on my plate and simply have no time to promote ListZe. I have tossed a couple of backlinks at it, which generate a steady 400-500 unique visitors per day, but that's nothing compared to what this project is capable of.

I had actually neglected this site for so long, I hadn't even noticed the ads were misconfigured and not showing for the past 6 months or so. I've just re-enabled the ads now, but I have no idea what to expect money-wise. Probably not much with the current low traffic.

It has full MySQL optimization, even for the custom search engine integrated into the site. There's a full account system, with profiles showing recent activity. Example: http://www.listze.com/members/komodo/

There is even a custom caching engine I built into this site, where if a list gets dugg/slashdotted/reddited, it doesn't overload the DB or Apache servers. It caches the list automatically and can handle virtually any traffic spike.

The voting is fully AJAX, and everything is incredibly optimized internally (very high-quality USA-based programming).

There are two types of lists: normal text lists (example: http://www.listze.com/lists/6 ) and image-supported lists (example: http://www.listze.com/lists/101 ). Additionally, lists can be locked (for a limited number of items), or left open where any visitor can contribute their own list items to be ranked (such as for best joke lists).

I put a lot of energy into making this a great website, so I look forward to seeing someone take it to the next level.

I'll hear offers above $8k, but I would like to get a very reasonable $10k for the BIN.

Edit: I just listed this site on Flippa as well: http://flippa.com/auctions/82814/Cu...e---Complete-Startup-Company---Never-Launched

I don't have any solid offers yet, but I'm currently responding a number of PM questions about the site. The offers will hopefully materialize in time.

The revenue is very small (maybe $1-2 a day). It's more of a turnkey site. Fully built and aged, but needs some promotion. :)
