Bucko thanks for the effort, I wonder if the green circle rotated slowly if it would solve the 'reading' the text problem?
MantisArt good try but I need something more unique, ribbon and globe is pretty common and clipart'ish
stellah57 still looks very much like a few cliparts put together, really want something unique with some sort of 'wow' factor.

If anyone needs to modify the text a bit to somehow make their graphic work that is ok, my words are just stating the message I want to get across .

thank you for the feedback, although I must admit I don't know exactly what I should do with the circle. Should the text start elsewhere? Is the graphic apart from the text OK?

hello

a new concept, everything except the grass in the badge is custom drawn (grass is actually a symbol from illustrator, but I can redraw it myself if necessary)

The size is not exact (not 160*160 but somewhere around 160*169, 120*127...)

If there are any color preferences please let me know, I can also apply light or more shades if necessary to make it glossier and more web 2.0

added some effects, and made the text look like it's coming out fo the surface, not as flat as it was

not: if the upper light reflection is too bright I can reduce it, same goes for everything else

reduced opacity of the light + noticed that the right lower edge is a bit strong so I changed the color

warpser I like the band of gold at the bottom but the rest looks very clipart'ish

bucko I think for that design is good and I don't have advice to make it look any better but it just is not unique enough to be what I am looking for. Maybe with some better images in the back and another color (blue) implemented it would look better. I just don't think that specific design has the 'wow' factor I am looking for.

I am also a little surprised I did not get more entries for the prize offered, it seems much higher than the standard $25-$40 most are offering for a logo.
