Contest $100 Contest for a Badge Design - Looking for Something Cool and Creative

I am looking for a clean, web 2.0'ish looking badge design that will blend charity and green together to form something attractive and catchy that webmasters will want to have on their home pages to show they support charity/green causes - open to all colors schemes.

The general message should be:

We Support Charitable Giving and a Clean Green Earth

size should be in the 160x160 pixel range but the final image should be in a few sizes, 160x160, 120x120, 100x100 and button size 150x75 - final version should be provide in .jpg, .gif, .png, .psd

-Payment via Paypal upon receipt of the designs.
-Contest will run for one week ending Tues March 16, 2010 at 3pm EST
-Don't use clip-art and please mention if you need to purchase the rights to any image used
-I reserve the right to cancel the contest at any time
-I will reserve the right to not accept any design if the quality is not good.

I guess I'll be the first one to try my try in attachment, it combines a hearth which stands for kindness and care and standard recycle and environment protection symbols.

Should the image be on a badge (e.g.round button or something) or can it be only the image?

For now there's no web 2.0 look as it is only a concept - if You like it I can work on it. The image is 100% vector and can be resized or recolored. It's not a square so there might be some problems with sizing it to 120*120 (maybe 130*110, 160*140 etc...) If that is a problem I'll try and fix it (?).

A sun wraped in green, if you want it i could replace the sun with Earth but i thing this looks nicer this way. Text could be added if you want to. Hope you like it!

 

Firstly I want to say thanks for all the submissions so far and if you could please incorporate the text I mentioned in the OP because it is important to this project. And it does not need to look like a badge or award but its purpose is for the website owner to earn goodwill by showing their visitors they support charity and green.

Migi - I don't really like it sorry, can't even think of a way to improve on it.

Cissed - Sorry to say but really bad in my opinion, the white looks washed out (over-exposure) and the text looks bad.

Stellah57 - Not a bad but seems to be a copy of Bucko - I would prefer purely original work.

Bucko - Good start but I need you to incorporate the text into it please.

freak_art - Not really what I am looking for.

I'll implement the text, I thought that the message you wrote is something a picture should convey without the text, sorry for that

I'll post my revision later today.

 

The picture should definitely convey that message but I think it needs text too!

Cissed - just too basic, need something more creative.

 

my revision with text - the smaller sizes are approx. 160*160,120*120 and 100*100 so you can see the text is still readable, although I'll probably need to think of a different color (it should probably suit all backgrounds?)

hi, I tried in capital letters but it seems that when I scale it down the text becomes almost unreadable, you can see it for yourself... I'll try and figure out some other options with different fonts and small letters, but i doubt I'll get the text to be readable as well as in previous try.
