I've decided to "up the anty" for September by offering a $100 cash prize to the winner of the Semptember Site of the Month contest. This is the official nomination thread, but first let's go over a few contest rules. 1. You may NOT nominate yourself, so see if you can get a friend to do this. It helps to have friends! 2. You MAY vote for yourself (but not in this thread...wait til the voting starts), and you may only nominate one site. 3. You can be running any version of phpLD 4. Votes will only be accepted from people who joined this forum AFTER the voting thread is started. A date will be announced shortly. 5. All nominations must contain one sentence of at least 25 words describing why the site it being nominated. 6. "Unsportman-like" conduct will not be tolerated. Please play fair, and be kind to other competitors in the contest. Good luck to everyone, and thank you for making phpLD a great script. We couldn't have done it without you! (and we are not finished yet!). All nominations MUST be made here: $100 Cash Prize for September 2005 phpLD Site of the Month - PHP Link Directory Forum
Nice! Also, I think the prize money is a great way to get more people interested . Keep up the great work, David.
Good Luck to everyone Rob edit: sorry bout' that. didn't see the earlier thread. look at my nice little 'infraction' red dot on the right bottom corner hahaha. you have to be kidding me. rofl
Hey Rob, only you can see that red dot and the infraction. No one else sees it, but I'm sure it cool.
its hard to pick just one.. can i nominate http://www.koopy.org ? pretty nice clean design to it.. not overly done just simple my submissions were accepted very quickly when i submitted and im betting koopy gets alot of new submissions daily... i get some alrght traffic also
Best of luck to you all, I won't vote as per client reasons, some of you may have them as well. Enjoy and may the best directory win!
Not really a fan of the nomination process... owners should be able to submit their directory for consideration in the content and then the other members should have to nominate it for it to be accepted into the contest. Anyways, I will add my shameless plug here... If you guys like http://www.ewebdevelopment.net/ feel free to nominate it in that thread...
STOP posting your own sites. It is very unporffesional. DO you think that I want to visit your directory and submit a link after you "shamelessly" (more like greedily) plug your site?
