$100 Logo for Car Wash. Need a new logo for a Car Wash facility. Here is examples of current signage and business cards. Problems with the current design are; 1) The use of the Corvette car. May turn off Ford, Dodge and Import fans. And it is not very original. Logo presents itself as a Corvette not a Super Shine Car Wash 2) The word carwash is too small. Carwash is the keyword here so it should stand out being the same font size as the trade name, Super Shine. The word carwash can be writen as "Carwash" (one word) or "Car Wash" (two words). In the trade the one word version is used. But we could also go with "CarWash" (one word divided in 2 by caps). Whatever you think stands out better on your design. Perhaps a logo image could include a bling of shine, if you know what I mean and a few bubbles. New logo will be going onto the building in a horizontal way not boxy and vertical like the old sign. It will also be used to make a vinyl graphic to go on the side of a pick-up truck, Toyota Tacoma. So should flow well along the length of the box of the truck. Should portray an image of "crisp and clean" and quality. This carwash facility does not cut corners and dilute their chemicals. They offer the best quality and do not lower their prices to "compete" with other car washes. So the logo should help portray that. Contest to close on Tuesday. Prize is $100, Payment via Paypla
Hi axemedia, I understand the fact that you want to emphasize on the word carwash. However, I think that your company's name should be the key element of your logo here, since it's the main thing that'll make you stand out of your competitors. Also I really like the name "Supershine" for your niche. I think that it's a strong name from a branding point of view. I agree that "carwash" should be very easy to read though. That being said, here's my attempt for a first draft: You can change it to whatever color you like obviously. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
Here is some feed back on current entries. Nine - Like the colors and fonts on supershine. Very clean and cheary. Not fond of that car and starburst. Brown_Cow - Nice, like the chrome "shine" in Super Shine Wrick - Like the liquidy look. Super Shine is 2 words, not one. And could you enlarge the word carwash so it fits from the P to the end of the E? Rajat - Too busy. Get rid of your drop shadows. Like the shine in Super shine and the wet look on carwash. Tropica - Very good job of creating a retro look, but we dont want retro. It's too conservative. Would be fine for a mom & pop carwash but we want something more outstanding for this carwash. SNiiP3R - Car is too promonent and the word carwash is too small and hidden in the licencse plate. Carwash is our keyword and needs to stand out. Plus we need a linear design to fit on a vehicle. gerryt - I like the font on Super Shine but the black background kills it. Too dark and gloomy. We want bright and fresh and "clean" Fidel_Castro - I like it, but might be a bit too retro. Client has not seen this one yet so I cant give full feedback yet. Linear shape needed for this logo Here is a photo of the vehicle a vinyl version of the logo will go on Graphic should fit along the side of the 2 doors and can extend onto the rear box panels, if need be. And the phrase CARWASH needs to be very proponent. Regardless of branding, when a person is driving around in their dirty car and they see a sign that very prominently announces that 'THIS IS A CARWASH FACILITY!' they know right away what it is VS. seeing SUPER SHINE "whats that? is it a carwash? maybe?" In this business branding comes second to pulling in traffic. They can experience the brand and remember the brand after they have come in to wash their car.
"mom & pop" is a North American expression for a traditional small family business. This car wash is a chain of Car Washes in a few cities and is expanding to more. Not that retro cant work for a chain of carwashes, but it's just not the look were going for here.
axemedia: When your client sees it, it would be nice if you can tell me after that if there is anything that fits your client, so I can edit the logo, or some hint to make a brand new one. thanks
So I done Some Experiment With the Logo's. I don't know if this is Bad or good ..:-? Few Changes. 1. 2. 3.
