In my opinion it's better to concentrate on a few sites and update the content more regularly. I think 100 would be a little hard to manage.

Quality is better than quantity. If you concentrate on 1 blog and make the content unique, make traffic, then you get $$$.
if each of your 100 sites has same good traffic, wow big money!!

    i have ONE single blog
hand-write ALL unique content myself and earn much more than the 500$/m from the one blog alone.

you must be multiple professor to KNOW/be expert in 100 niches and if really so then with 100 blogs you would earn some 100k$/m

Just concentrate on a few blogs.

How are you going to promote all 500 blogs? traffic is not just going to turn up and if they are for high paying keywords there will be plenty of competiton from sites ranked a lot higher.

I do quite a bit of promotion for some of my blogs, the ones with the lower traffic (few hundred UV a day) sometimes go a few days without a click.

Try making 5 at first and seeing how they go, it will be a lot more difficult than it seems.

    Typical!

Why don't you try one first, see if everything is going according to plan, and expand to your target of 100 sites?

Then at least if your plan doesn't work, you know you didn't waste all your money!

For me one blog is enough. 100 blogs is genius or very genius.
    Are you genius???

Thanx for your suggestions guys , yes i do plan to start with few blogs on 12 niches and then see thier performance first 2months and then increase by 5-10 blogs a month from there onwards. traffic is not a problem , i have a network of 10 sites which combined has 350,000 uniques a month and about 2million pageviews , on which i will place the link/banners to these blogs and also every blog is updated by my softwares with fresh unique content and up to date ones no duplication at all. With minimal attaention like 2-4hrs a day i can manage content on 50+ blogs.

I am also planning to make links inline within every blog so that a visitor sees a blog and if he see this link , he then visits another blog and so on , i also have budget to purchase traffic.

i have been selling links and ads on my websites and i am new to adsense , just in august i signed up and now i have $126.89 in my account.Thats a small amount compared to what i get from selling links , i read somewhere that blogs can earn much better than sites, so here i posted this topic for your valuable suggestions.

Thanks to you all for ur replies.

I'm also lauching the same thing...
about 15 blogs with static content in blogger...
But to make a high trafic that allow good earning, i'm concentrated with only 5 blogs with unique content..
I can see that yes 100 blogs can be a good thing but just if it's added to 3 or 4 "true" blogs with unique content..

Even if you have an established network, it's easier to promote 12-15 blogs than 100. How would you spread out 100 links on that established network? With each new blog that you have to promote, you'd water down the link quality for the others.

Unique content created with a rewriter software is cr*p. You just have to take a look at those articles too see it. I think it's very hard to build a truly good website with that kind of content, unless you check and re-write the articles yourself.

If you have a budget, you should think about hiring a human rewriter. It's more expensive, but you'll get better results. JMO.

Problogger.net should be your first stop. Darren is "Mr.Problogger"; his blog is packed up with useful tips, ideas, tutorials, everything. He makes a very nice income from his blogs, although he's not a millionaire. ;)

I highly recommend his blog if you're thinking about blogging for dollars. You'll also find many useful links for other blogs and websites there.

I don't think it will work well ecause you seem to be planning to add content for sth sake of earning money.

As long as it's good content, it doesn't matter if you're adding it for the hell of it, because you want to help people or just to make money. The visitors don't care about your motivations, they care about the quality of the content.

You must find a result to an equation between good content and earning money..
If you can't update regularly all the 100 blogs, you must try to pick good static content in the majority of your blogs and update more often three ou four of them..
    Good Luck

I would suggest you to go for 1 blog but keep the content original, the 1 alone can earn you more than than all these 100 blogs IMO.
