    Congrats! You have to really thank both CNN and fox news for the dollar raining through the adsense. But don't let the traffic die out so easily when you get out of the limelight.

    You need not worry about the sudden surge in traffic since it is legit and it will be okay with google...

    Anyways..from my end the best part is the increase in my Organic traffic...it went up from 1300 to 6000 a day :D. I'm looking forward to get featured more often..It will be AWESOME! :D

    4% is actually good. But you can easily push it to 8 - 10% with some testing. Basically in a matter of days since you are swiming in traffic.

    Although not featured on CNN, I had a similar massive surge in traffic but for me it had the opposite effect. All my click throughs come from search engines, other traffic generally doesn't get ad clicks for me. So suddenly getting 40k hits a day killed my CTR.
