it's been only 7 hours since you originally posted, and the design has to go through the CH, to the client, back to the CH and onto the board.

Thanks for all your enthusiasm. I apologize in the delay on the feedback; my client was sick yesterday and I am meeting with him today in about 2 hours.

I have been very impressed with several entries. Since the competition is tight, I would say that the best general feedback I can give you all is to style it up a little. Add some design where you can, and don't get too caught up in the wood grain (although it does need to be there). I'm really wanting a stylish 2.0 design. See the following sites for a cue. I would like to see some design work along the edges, on the form, or places where there is no text. I like the flowing swirls, paisleys, or since it's a wood flooring site, maybe something botanical (like branches, etc; no flowers please). I'm open to other concepts, these are just some ideas.

**CONTEST WINNER ANNOUNCED**

I have never done it quite like this, but we have a three winners. The final version is a combination of Bizzard, Badmasketa, and Jay2xtreme2125. Since the primary layout is Bizzard's, he takes home $100 and finishes all edits and the sub page; but I would like to offer $25 each to Badmasketa and Jay2xtreme2125 as a consolation prize for their input.

Congratulations to the winners. Based on the final version, does this make me a fair CH?

For all interested, I will be holding a logo contest tomorrow and will be immediately following it up with another site design contest. Please let me know if you would not like to be notified once it is up.

I want to sincerely thank all who entered. As I said, there were some excellent designs and we had a tough time deciding on one.
