This may not be much help, but I would follow the suggestions of the others above. Make your ads blend in... make them near the menu etc.

Also, maybe have a search around for podcasts about adsense? there must be some around the place... Anyone on here know of any decent ones, as opposed to the self promotional trash that is all too often pushed out?

Can I ask, just out of interest, have you always been blind, or did this happen at a later date. Well done to you for the determination and enthusiasm for sticking with this! - Keep at it, you will get there!

As duggested by Mike Blend Google ads to look like if they are part of your site. This way you may go up at least by 25% i.e 125US$ if you are currently earning 100US$.

Hard to say. I suggest continuing with Adsense and working hard on content and traffic

 

you have not mentioned daily visitors, how many visitors are you getting daily?
you could work on backlinks and try to increase your SERPS, after all more visitors will give you more revenue.
also someone mentioned link selling, you could easily make $100 - $200 monthly selling link either privatley or through a broker like TLA (text-link-ads)

Yea the site would look smooth with a ad that somehow blend to the background.

 

My suggestion is,
Go on with adsense. Change your layout. Blend ads with your article or use different ads block. If possible, change your theme color and use more attractive image header.

 

Some people don't want the truth. Being "Nice" won't make you any more money. If I were "blind" I would find work more suitable to my strengths.

You post in a public forum, you get replies. You don't have to like them.

And it's still your site.

 

The min payment is $100 so you got your first payment? You will not make more with YPN. You will make more with a better niche!

 

You made $100 a year with just the website in your signature?

 

Whats the traffic like? Simple way to get more money is get more traffic. YPN wont make you more if you still have the same traffic. Maybe an affiliate program might work more. Check out CJ, you can get a percentage of the sales which one sale could mean more than $100....

Create photoshop tutorials, upload them to your website, submit the pages in some websites and you will earn some good revenue I guarentee that!
