Thanks for joining saxDesigns. My contact is quite impressed with ariestoteles input, needs some refinement though which I will bring forward and explain later this day after the meeting. Any other ideas are welcome.

These are the responses so far For Ariestotoles design....groundbreaking etc. but it is taking up too much space and the logo - though clever - is not strong enough. The font is too weak and orange colour in it is not preferred. The letters in the text beside the image are to big. Should probably have a bit more conservative look in overall. For the demonhale's design ... the header is too dark and the images are taking up too much space. But very good design with lots of promise.
A bit to bright. Your first contribution is better. If the header can be done a bit lighter would be nice. the columns on the left and right could be in different color shades. The grey picture is too big. Not sure if it looks good when it's made smaller, - it's a nice picture though. The second parapraph can be skipped since it would take to much space on the top.
My template is based around CSS coding. I can supply the design, and code it, for just £75 ($150). If you don't require coding, then the design will be £45 ($90). The coding would include: A PHP CMS, allowing you, and others, to add news and articles quickly and easily. It also supports comments, searching, etc. An admin section to update the poll. Space for AdSense (if you want it). Plus other extras if requested; Random banner rotator, Newsletter sign up, RSS, etc. If you want a more "busy", and "less simple" design, I can easily create a version 2. At the moment, demonhale's design is favored by the client. I personally like ariestoteles disigns but 1. the logo is not professional enough and 2. altogether a bit to fancy for this kind of projects. This contest will end on Thursday, so still some time for others to show their works. saxDesigns, thank you for your offers and you may get some message in the near future for other projects from our UK contacts.
