$100.00 1 page layout - mortgage group site for veterans - GUARANTEED.

Ok I have never held a contest here on dp, but i really like some of the designs I have seen.

With that being said, I need a design for a website that will be launching in about a month - gatewaymortgageforveterans dot com. (did that for search engines)

The site will be a 1 page site directed towards veterans who have served overseas and now are looking to buy a home in the U.S. through gateway mortgage. Our original site is (gatewaymortgagesml)dot com.

The site should be very professional and directed towards all veterans, young, old, etc.

The main thing on the page will have our logo, which i will provide an upload link in a few, a place for text (maybe two places) a contact form just like the one on (gatewaymortgagesml)dot com (exactly like it) and that's about it right now. The navigation should have room for growth just in case we decide to add more links to it, so you can show me with and without a nav.

flags are ok, a nice background we would love that relates to veterans, but keep in crisp and clean.

I will try my best and provide feedback daily from 9-5 pm est. This is a guaranteed contest, and we will not end this until we find the one we love.

NO DESIGNS THROUGH PM WILL BE ACCEPTED. Show your designs in the threads. I am pretty good at spotting templates used before, so keep it unique.

a simple text logo would be good for right now, but if you amaze us with your logo, that would be a big plus.

We don't want web 2.0 style. We want simple, elegant, and professional. Keep it clean designers.

@neilparnham - a good start, but needs to be more military based. This is more government based. These veterans have risked their lives for their country and the design needs to show. Also, there is a lot of space for un needed text, try to cut down on this a bit.

The colors won't work either, we don't want a web 2.0 look.

 

To add to our request - if you can find symbols for the military services - army, navy, marines, coastal guard, etc. and place them at the bottom of the layout, that would give the website the feel that we support all military services.

Mortgage calculator needs to be on there
NO Banners from UFirst or SML.
Military pictures would be great, flags are good too.

 

@neilparnham - I just noticed the flag background, I really do like that. Just de-government the design and add military feel.

 

@ neilparnham We don't know if we want our address on there yet, and the news and updates can stay for now.

Tone it down a bit, it seems like a lot is going on.

@ katesrobyn - too much. This is more of a landing page, and needs to be more military life like. Gateway Mortgage group provides mortgages, we don't buy and sell homes either. Think Landing page - think mortgages - think military - think veterans

I don't mean to sound harsh, we are very simple and this page will be a very simple page.

P.S. we really like the flag as the background, kind of fading out.
