10 YouTube Tips for Success

Another 10 tip post on my blog. Alot of these tips really are just common sense but hopefully it might help some people.

I agree with everything you posted. Might I add one as well, as I feel that it's pretty crucial from a traffic driving standpoint.

One thing a lot of people dont realize is that when the video ends on youtube, some icons popup allowing your traffic to leave. What I suggest if your driving traffic is have your last frame or two being a blank screen with your website address. It could say "to visit--website addy"

Something simple like that, but if you let it stay up for a minute or so then the viewer will be viewing your website address for awhile instead of being hit with new places to go or new movies to view.

Thanks Ruck. Yeah I assumed that was taken as standard anyway. The tips were just for getting views on a video not so much marketing of a site within a video. There is another post on the blog for that though!

The best thing in my opinion is to simply have a watermarked link over the video, maybe size 15px, slightly styled, glowed in the left hand corner of the video.
That way they will be seeing your link throughout the video.

You know you could probably expand upon it and publish it in a hardbound book, I could become your agent (getting no less than an 18% cut) touring the country in a bus.

Thanks, well. Here is one of my magic videos (been doing card magic about 3-6 years). So this may help you get an idea of what I meant. Just good simple editing and watermarked link.
I have 373 subscribers and counting on that channel, only 16 vids up also.
