    Yahoo isn't the only villain

The Internet giant is just one of many tech firms propping up China's totalitarian ways.

thats rough man.. poor guy.. yahoo really told on him?

one day the american people will get tired of corprate outscourceing of all our jobs and when we stand up and put a stop to outscourceing.. then these big uncareing giants will lose milions but the american people will gain from it.. or at least we will all get our jobs back..

Outsourcing and cheap imports from Asia were supposed to make our people richer, but our purchasing power in 2007 is less than it was in 1970.

Where is the money now? Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore.

International companies, banks and their CEO's made a killing though.

heh! While it's horrible what happened, it's things like this that always remind me of how good we have it in the US and how trivial and disingenuous those that pretend they've lost their freedoms and rights are.

Phony outrage over lost liberties that were never lost vs the real world, where people really are and have lost real freedoms. Sort of puts all that whining and crying into perspective.

Everyone is trying to get into China, Yahoo, Google, Microsoft, you name it. Can they do without China market? I would say to stay relevant amidst such competition, no one can.

Thats harsh. I wonder what was in the email.

But still, when you sign up to yahoo it says it won't disclose your information with anyone (doesn't it?). Surely they have broken their own contract?

The article says it was a government memo ordering media not to report on the 15th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square.
