$10 website banner content

I am looking for a new website header for:
http://www.eaguingamp.co.uk/

The site is currently under-going a re-design and I would like a new header.

The image needs to be 800px wide and no more than 180px tall.

The website is dedicated to En Avant Guingamp football club, it needs to be sleek and unique.

Post up you entries and feedback will be given to all

Here's what I came up with in a couple minutes, if bought I will take the "Copyright" watermarks out, I can also elaborate on this if you want...

 

Here are 2 other versions, not much changes, but a little different, all are put together into one image so yeah, maybe you'll like one of these better.

@j634: Not so keen on the design, it looks a bit cheap.
@fuser00: Not very keen on the stripes because they contrast with the background of the site.
@buncoh: Looks professional, just think it looks a bit boring.
@MarioBowser: I like the 3rd one on the post above. Currently my favourite.

So pointers for everyone:
I would like an exciting banner that brings the page alive a bit more, like the banner on this site does:
http://www.muc72.fr

It does not need to have 2008-2009 on it. Would like to have the club logo on it though.
