I hope it helps you all!: http://superbloggingtips.com/2007/12/10-ways-to-create-exposure-for-your-blog/
Not a blog carnival like one on blogcarnival.com. I am talking about group writing projects. Basically you make a post on your blog, asking your readers to submit all their articles on a certain topic. Build up the hype for your future resource, and then gather all the articles and put them in one post. It is like a blog carnival, but run on your site and for your readers. In my niche, they have been all the craze and dozens of bloggers have been doing them. In fact, my group writing project post is one of the ones on my site with the most pageviews and enthusiasm! Here is the call I made for articles: http://superbloggingtips.com/2007/11/calling-for-your-articles-about-blogging/ Here is the final result: http://superbloggingtips.com/2007/12/save-money-on-your-next-computer/ It proved to be extremely successful and got me noticed by a variety of people, as well as drew in thousands of visitors reading the resource.
Thanks for the tips. Though most of them are fairly standard and it is not easy to create linkbaits as people think.
