    Try adding the information about the database via config.php and then do the installation.

    Also check that the database server is localhost or the one provided to you by your host.

    And the database name and username might be different in some cases. Double check the information and it should probably work out.

    It should probably be having a few fields before hand as it will be editing the file with the information you enter during the installation of the script. (the process while you go from the installation page.)

    If you wish, you can send me a PM regarding your website link and installation page and i might be able to figure out something that what goes in the config.php if show empty by default.

    Maybe the .sql file which is the database file has the variables of what goes inside it.
