Yes I would agree with some of your points, but not all. All your points direct to get higher in rankings for a site/blog rather than getting more traffic. Yes I do agree that forum posting is the important part for getting traffic, however it should be followed by some meaningful and interesting forum postings.
I do not think that domain name does have any importance for getting more traffic to your site. Social bookmarking sites also do have a relevant importance for driving the traffic, but its a long term process, say about 6 months or so.

Ye the last point which is about getting traffic from youtube which i have used and its really useful for getting me huge traffic daily ...

 

Well, these are very good techniques to increase the traffic of the site but the important key is the content so if the content of your site is good and unique then you will see more and more traffic coming toward your site, because people always looking for some thing that is new and unique so that's why its really very important that the content of your site should be very good, unique and very informative...
