Again, not very sure it would work - you would have to spend a lot of time distributing the cards. (but having a url at your card is generally good - but it's not like you make cards with url to distribute them)
All of your tips are purely common sense, none of them infact help you get more traffic, infact telling people to buy traffic, isn't helping them get any, it's just buying the traffic, which lowers your profit margin.

I agree with the paid traffic...they are not worthy of our money. Nowadays people are more into organic traffic and social bookmarking...paid traffic is dead.
