    Hello,

Finally, I had some time to update, Directory Kit, with a new post. During the month I was really busy so I could not update it at all. However, this month I have more free time on my hands so the blog will be updated more often.

If you want you can help me to update the blog more often by telling me (slashpix@gmail.com) what to write about. If you will give me a good suggestion then I will thank you in the article by posting your nickname and one of your directories.

Now back to business, New post is 10 Steps Procedure to Accepting Quality Sites

And this is how it goes:
    ---
One of the most frequently questions that directory owners ask themselves is, “Ok, so do I accept this site or not?”. This question arises since quality is one of the most important aspects in any directory and thus every directory should only have quality sites.

When you are just starting a new directory then that question is not a big deal since directory doesn’t have any sites in it. You accept as many sites as possible because you think that you can always delete them (if you are not in any contract with that site). But remember that it takes less time to reject it at first then finding it and deleting it later. So follow these simple 10 steps whenever you have troubles figuring out if certain sites should be accepted or not. Also remember to follow these steps in the order so you can save the most time. It’s worth noticing that four steps don’t not require you to visit website while other six do.
    ---

You can read the full post here.

Any comments about the article is much appreciated, so don’t be shy and leave a comment.

Hi, I hope you won't mind a little criticism, not about the article.
I had a little trouble with the colors in the article. It hurts my eyes sometimes to read light text on a dark background.

Haaa haa i found this part really funny and totally not-practical at all :
There is no way a person can remember all the websites that exists in their directory, i got over lets see 1600+ sites listed at my directory, but i remember maybe 10-20 sites by name maybe, so if someone submits a duplicate site with different domain and is not a redirection, how am i supposed to figure out if that site already exists in directory with some different domain (i am not a computer and human memory has limits , well atleast my memory is crappy so not sure about you and others, hence posted my thoughts about that un-practical comment for me).

Also found this somewhat out of the world and a first timer that someone would actually think about buying while approving, dunno how many think like that.
    10. Would you buy the website you want to accept?

But nice try though and like david said almost made me blind to be frank. Change the colors not good for my eyes or maybe not cause dunno if i will visit it again.

    Cheers

Thats a sign of getting old, my dad has that problem. :D Nah seriously your right, it was pretty mean on my eyes as well, good article though. Call it 'constructive critisism' it goes down better. :)

Nice article thanks for sharing, the most important thing for me is "the first impression" most of the time from the first impression i can tell if its a good website or no.

I think the one that gets me the most is red text on a black background. And yes, that is a good way of putting it, and was my intent. After all, he might get more readers if the reading is easier. :)

Thanks for the feedback. The theme is changed now, what do you think?

Is it better now and more readable?
