Wow. $10. I normally charge $500 just for the writing of a 500 word release, another $200 for every 100 outlets I email or fax it to, and $40/hour for followup calls. I've never had a client complain about the prices AFTER they signed up, though I've met lots of people who can't understand why writers should be paid for their work and would have complained about $10.
Yes, the market price per press release is $xxx, its just that its hard to find people here that would pay even close to that amount. Those prices are for companies that are Fortune 500 or worth millions or are big time celeberties or something like that.
