I have been wrestling with a very simple problem that has eaten up my entire weekend and most of my hair has been torn out. See avatar. Here is the problem: when I use custom permalinks of any kind on my new wordpress blog, there is an error with displaying the comment box. I have tried everything I can imagine to fix this, including a 28 (and-counting) post at WP support forum. The problem has been narrowed down, and a great many things have already been attempted, but no matter what...comments work with default permalinks and not with custom. As a last resort before abandoning custom permalinks, I offer a $10 reward for successful resolution of this problem. I will give you a link to the blog to examine, as well as the WP support forum, answer any questions you have about what I have already attempted, and try any (reasonable) change you suggest. The reward will be for the person who helps me solve this issue and the offer will close when the problem is solved or at any time I decide to give up on fixing it. Thank you for your consideration.
