1. Do not think that you will make $XXX in the first week of internet marketing because you won't. 2. Just because a guru says he makes $X,XXX a month on auto pilot dose not mean you will if you buy their product. 3. Never get pulled into the promise of overnight riches if you buy this or that product for $XX. Trust me you won't. 4. Internet marketing is actually difficult work and it takes lots of effort and time. 5. Not anyone can make money online unless you take action basically nothing in nothing out. 6. Only pick one or at the most 2 methods to make money online and master them, such as YouTube and Facebook or affiliate and article marketing. If you select too many you will end up accomplishing nothing. 7. You must be focused on the task at hand as you will get overwhelmed by the information that is out there on the internet. 8. Identify your niche and join the conversation i.e. join your chosen niches community and find out what they are buying. 9. You need a website/blog so you have a online presents it's not crucial but as an internet marketer you will need to have one sooner or later. 10. Learn to drive TRAFFIC, this is the big one, always understand that if you have no traffic coming to your product then you will have no sales.

I wish I knew this a couple years ago, before I spent all my money on useless products. Much of the information I paid for could have easily been found via google if only I had taken the time to look.
In this information age, you have to do your homework using google (or any other search engines) to research thoroughly before making any decisions. The more homework you have done on your own, the better it is.
A business is a business whether online or offline. You will need to know about the business. People think that internet marketing can make them rich in a day but it is not the case. Internet marketing is a great way to make money but it takes time and effort to learn about it. So, first learn about the internet and then think about $$.
There is a lot of money to be made online. A lot of people are making sick amounts of money. BUT, these people are also working very hard or they at least worked hard when they were setting up their business. Because of hyped sales letters and boasters out there, it's easy to believe that riches will come pouring in by virtue of you calling yourself an internet marketing. It doesn't work like that. But the great thing is that there IS a lot to be made IF you are willing to work your butt off as you start and grow your business. I agree with most of the points made in the OP!!!!
Yeah, These are the facts of Internet marketing..Obviously, many Peoples think Internet marketing is the easiest way to earn money ..Yeah, you can earn a lot of money in internet marketing but skill is what we all need to make money, whether it was offline or online..I also started affiliate marketing with a hope of earning quick money.but i have to work more than 2x time online to make the money i am earning offline by working 1x times..

Also, if it sounds too good to be true, than it probably is. Be extra cautious when people offer deals that sound out of this world.
