10 point infraction for duplicate thread

My friend today got banned from DP. He recieved 2 emails notifying him that he got an infraction. The first one said he recieved 1 infraction point for a duplicate thread and said not to make duplicate threads. The second one was a 10 point infraction for duplicate accounts, but the message said not to make duplicate threads. I think this is a mistake and my friend assures me he does not have duplicate accounts. How can he contact someone to get this straightened out. Seeing as he can no longer come on the forum, can I contact a moderator and apeal his case.
