Thanks GeorgR, We really don't understand why there is such negativity. Same people who frown at promoting this are probably webmasters promoting Granny Porn or adultfriendfinder Yes, that girl that looks like a model, really does live down your street. LOL
This is what it says in their FAQ: "As 99% of our clients use our service because they have neither the time nor the inclination to attend a traditional university, the question of Credit transfer is irrelevant anyway. Similarly, certain professions require degrees to have a specific accreditation i.e. Architecture, Medicine, Nursing, Teaching and Education, Psychology, Psychiatry, Veterinary Science, Dentistry, Social Work and certain government jobs. This is a very small percentage of the potential uses to which a degree can be put." Though many people with any common sense knows this is crap, the wording sure makes it sound like these degrees are used for these purposes. I think if they want honest full disclosure, they should clearly state these degrees can not be used for any profession that requires a professional certification. Instead they mismatch their words to make people think that they can use these for that very purpose. Good luck making the money but I think their are much more honest ways to make money. BTW, you never answered what country your degree was from!
What is "We use a different affiliate ID for every forum we post on." You mean you have multiple affiliate ID's for the same program. Not clearly understood your statement on DP members "yes, digitalpoint readers must need degrees for some reason" Anyway, congratulations on your success.
Yes, we signed multiple accounts to track much more accurately where the sales are coming from when we promote this program. It is less prone to problems which can occur with affiliate ad trackers. They don't mind this. What I meant by DP readers is that the sales for that particular ID only came via this forum, which meant readers of this forum stumbling on the signature made purchases via our signature. Thanks for the kind words, makes a change from some people who get a little sensitive about Life Experience Degrees and this whole easy education thing.
Good Luck! I hope this loop get filled soon & those who have hardworked for similar degree ....... bring in a lawsuit fast
I am still unable to understand the fuss and the discussions over the degrees... People buying these degrees are probably the ones who should be thinking about the validity. Probably some people must be buying these out of curiosity... I sincerely believe that you should ideally put in the efforts and hard work to get that degree rather than buying it... Hey but whats that got to do with Affiliate Marketing... Don't tell me all the affiliates are promoting products which make sense.
I have a "real" degree and I'm most proud to say that I don't use it at all. Degrees are for people who want to work for someone else I prefer working for myself. Anyway, good deal with the sales although I find it sort of hard to believe. Maybe some thread you've posted in has got caught up in the search engines or something? I suppose it's possible. But I can't see why an internet marketer would buy such a... degree. Or any degree really.
They have agreements with several small privately accredited colleges. if they were printing them at home, they would have been in jail 6 years ago. BTW this form of work experience degree has been going on since the 1960s, nothing new.
Neither can we really, we both have them, but we think people have their own reasons for wanting a degree. All power to them.
I thought such things possible only in somewhat really corrupted country, now I know the truth. DP is great, what else I can say, each day I learn new things, lol
Colby Nolan is a housecat who was awarded an MBA degree in 2004 by Trinity Southern University, a Dallas, Texas-based diploma mill, sparking a fraud lawsuit by the Pennsylvania attorney general's office. Colby Nolan belongs to a deputy attorney general. In looking to expose Trinity Southern University for fraud, some undercover agents had the then six-year-old Colby Nolan obtain a bachelor's degree in business administration for $299. On the cat's application, the agents claimed that the cat had previously taken courses at a community college, worked at a fast-food restaurant, babysat, and maintained a newspaper route. Then the school informed Colby that, due to the job experience listed on his application, he was eligible for an executive MBA for $100 more. The agents then sent for Colby's transcript, which claimed that Nolan had a 3.5 grade point average. Jerry Pappert, Pennsylvania's attorney general, filed a lawsuit against Trinity Southern University upon learning that the cat had received the degree. In the lawsuit, Pappert also told the diploma mill, which had used e-mail spam to sell degrees, to provide restitution to anyone who had ordered a degree from them. In December 2004 the Texas Attorney General obtained a temporary restraining order under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act against Trinity Southern and its owners, Craig B. and Alton S. Poe. The court also ordered the school's assets frozen. In March 2005 the Poes were assessed fines and were ordered not to market or promote fraudulent, substandard degree programs or to represent their university as being accredited or affiliated with legitimate universities
Congrats on the conversions. As for the program you promote, I just don't understand why someone would buy one. I don't have a degree, but worked my butt off to get where I am. At any rate, this isn't about degrees, it is about making money, and that you did well. Thanks for sharing. Michael
