Conservatives celebrated the Bush win by chanting 4 MORE YEARS!

Wonder if they knew they really were saying 10 MORE YEARS!!

More than 10 years, 2 supreme court justice nominations alone will keep GWB's policies possibly going for decades.

Well...Its a war, thats kinda the point

I hate to see any civilian deaths whatsoever but again...thats war. The "resistance" in Iraq has only added to that number

last I checked we haven't pulled out of Germany and its 60 years later?

Too many people clamour for getting out, without thinking of any sort of repercussions.

I'm not for getting out of Iraq either, however what we 'were told' as the war would be short and paid for by the Iraq oil revenues among other items that came to be totally false.

We are also in Germany from last check not to keep the peace? More because we like having a base there, like so many other countries we still are in to a degree.

But I agree we are there, we must stay until the Iraq situation is 'fixed' as well as possible.

The Iraq war is the greatest war EVER! I'm glad we'll be there for a long time.

Think of all of the democracy we can spread in ten years!

Yeah I should state that I'm one of those mid-level liberals who feels like we're there so we might as well finish the job no matter what, but.......

I'm also one of those pesky liberals who keeps asking why no one is being dealt with for us being there under false pretences. Here's a point.... we're claiming we are there in Iraq because it's a terrorist state and we have to ensure they can't produce WMDs. Problem is there are other countires (Iran, South Korea) throwing it in our faces that they have WMDs. Why aren't we invading them and overthrowing their government? Is it because their leader didn't attempt to assasinate George Bush senior?

The GW Bush Administration has demonstrated that it's no longer necessary to plan for wars. Isn't that like so awesome?!

You can just hope for the best and plan for the best. Think about all of the time that saves!

That's right. The original settlers in America didn't come from England, they came from the north pole. The war that established America as a country was fought against Santa and his elves:)

Don't mind Rob, he's just not a history buff like me.

That's where the idea for night vision came from. In inner military circles it's still called Rudolph vision.

    We haven't forgotton our roots.
