Spammy due to the tagged links? As far as I know spammy is that which is repeating every single word an affiliate link I liked the reading, thanks for share it csutoras
Actually not spam at all.. BlackBeard is a regular figure in the SEO world and is involved in PPC. It is not my site at all and i dont even think he has ads on his page at all. But it is common for people to scream Spam when they can. FYI.. It was not too spammy to get linked from SearchEngineWatch.. lol
Pity your article didnt have anything of any real value in it If you want to develop real traffic to your site and actually start selling something I suggest you provide some real content of real value - otherwise you will just turn people off altogether You will also find that leaving links that dont show up as "live links" i.e. clickable is pretty pointless But that said, you really can make PPC work for you - both as an advertiser and a publisher Of course nothing is ever as easy as it sounds - you have to work at it to get it right Most of the time PPC networks require you to pay a ridiculous amount for your bids - so its really important to keep your bids as low as possible My own strategy is to find all the keyword phrases that people are typing in that are related to my products. Then I enter all these keywords with Adwords as either an exact match or phrase match - this means putting your phrases in either "your keyword here" or [your keyword here] This means you will not get flooded with clicks from people who are not really interested in your products Then you can see which keyword phrases actually get the most clicks and which dont get any clicks at all. By concentrating on the keyword phrases that get real clicks, you can get real value for your PPC advertising Conversion is also key If you need lots and lots of clicks to generate one sale, then PPC will probably just give you a big bill and no sales - so you will end up paying more to the PPC network then anyone ever pays to you in sales revenue - which of course is why there are PPC systems popping up all over the place As an asside you should also test how effective you advertising is Using Ezines that match your target audience can be better value for your money
good points. please note as i mentioned above. Not my blog.. Not my article Also i dont think there is any reason to trash someone else attempt at sharing.
Overall, pretty good tips. There is a good comment there about why "not bidding too high" can be a mistake. It's a very good start for PPC newbies though.
