10 K impressions, 21 Clicks and shitty 50 cents? WTF

    I own the site : WWW.YOMUZIK.NET . I started promoting it few days back. Got 21 clicks and still i just made the damn 50 CENTS! Insane. Any tips?

    Well you have only 1 adsense element. Maybe you should move the Live Traffic Feed and put some text ads there. And instead using the Link Unit above the online guest counter you can put one banner Banner (468 x 60)

    That will increase the clicks, I know. I want to keep site clean till it gets decent traffic. But my question is why am I getting so less?

    Adsense has become far too recognizable and is largely ignored by surfers. If it is to survive G better make them blend in a lot better. They claim the ads will attract "natural clicks" but they stick out like a sore thumb and not many will click because they know its an ad...

    Well, with that ad-placement 21 clicks under 10K impressions is not so surprising.
    As for the earnings - they are simply tragic... However, if you decide not to keep the site so clean, ad-units and banners might earn you more.
    More important I suggest you to put some related content on the page, as otherwise your account might get banned - after all adsense is content related.

    21 clicks consider good enough on this kind of placement. Better add another leaderboard or retangular ads at the top of the search
