While some of you did a good job with the background images, I'm honestly not liking the text font. I need the text to be professional, and maybe even glossy. Also, the edges and perimeter of the banner should be black so that it fades in with my skin's background.
@phoenix: You could make the banner bigger. The size doesn't have to be restricted to 1000x112. Could you change the text? It looks too plain. Maybe add a gradient? Make it look more glossy, etc. Also, could you make it fade into my skin? The edges and perimeter should be faded black.
