Hello all,

I have decided to promote an offer in my weight loss site and I need two similar banners for it.

Here is the idea:

I need two similar banners (when I say similar, I mean in terms of the colors basically) - one will be approximately 500 wide x 300 height in pixels and the other one will be 160 wide x 580 height in pixels. I will pay $10 for both and this contest will end in exactly 24 hours. I reserve the right not to pick a winner if I don't see any designs to my liking.

I need them both to say

Fasting To Lose Weight

And also something "pitchy"...

Here are some examples of what I consider to be "pitchy"

You can play with the sizes a little bit - the idea is that I want a rectangular shaped banner and then a similar vertical banner. You can play with images or wording... Just play in general and be creative.

I don't have any strict rules other than the fact that if you use images then they should be royalty free so that I don't get in trouble for using them!

PS. I would love it if you can make a gif so that there is some action. It could maybe be flashing or even just have the CLICK HERE flashing... Or something appearing slowly or anything like that.

PS. 2) I am showing you a terrible design myself that I made only so that you can get an idea of the concept and what I mean when "pitchy". Do not pay ANY attention to the colors or anything else... they were just random.

I would enter this one but 10$ for 2 banners is not my thing ... Good luck tho with the contest.

That is the idea xCuCu. Thanks for your submission. I would ask you to improve it though - maybe with an image or a drawing that you can come up with. It doesn't have to be complicated, but I would like to see more than words on a single colored background.

Quick Note - You don't have to actually create two unique banners.. Just make one and then use what you've made and make it fit the other size. It's 1 concept, out of which 2 banners will be created.

I am not paying more than that because
1) It is very simple
2) It's my first time trying to "sell" with banners so I don't know how it will go... if it works, you can expect many more contests with higher payouts or even more work for the winner.

Here are a few comments (up for debate always..)

1) I would put the girl in the middle of the image and not on the right. But maybe I just need her to be completely "in" the image... so a little to the right.

2) I would like for you to figure out a way to make the phrases fit in one line... or maybe in one flash... For example:

Instead of writing:

to keep the
weight off
for good

I would prefer:

Lose Weight
Keep It Off
FOR GOOD!

Or something like that... I don't like that too much either to be quite honest.. Maybe use other words... I just feel like I am taking an extra second to get the idea because of the fonts (red capitals for OFF FOR GOOD) or maybe the line break... and I would love it if I could "get it" instantly. A second may be too long for the average buyer.

3) I would like to see "better" fonts for the title... They seem too plain to me while the rest is nice.

4) I would change the transition. Instead of making the sentences fade out like that, I would maybe make them disappear in an instant and then fade in the next.

BONUS 5) Maybe put the girl right below the title... just a thought. If you do 1-4, I would really appreciate it if I could see both versions for the girl. Once at the bottom and once right below the title.

Having said that, you definitely have the lead at the moment and I am fine with the design if we make those small tweaks, so if I don't see any other submissions by the end of the deadline, you will be chosen.

I didnt know we can use pics from google, otherwise I would use one too.

 

nunulka don't be mischievous, obviously if the CH wants he can always buy a stock photo from one of the stock sites and put it on the banner.

 

Sorry but I am not mischievous. I just respected what he has written in his first post. Nothing against you. Of course the banners will not be for $10 if he buys one of the stock sites. If I would know it I used a better image for my banner.

Illidan actually replaced his image with one that was actually free so we are good to go. Your design would be my second choice, so there is a good chance that I will buy it as well to test it in a few days according to how well Illidan's designs performs.
