Hi, I need someone to answer a quick question. PM me the answer only, and the best answer gets $10 (note, the BEST answer, not EVERY answer, LoL). Question: Broadband comparison sites, like moneysupermarket.com, broadband expert and others have affiliate feeds, feeding their database with the various offers from broadband providers, this much I know, BUT: Where do they get the details for the postcode availability checkers? - Ie. someone enters a postcode, and their site says what broadband you can get (not that bothered about line speed testers, just what broadband providers are available for your telephone exchange)... I need to know how they AUTOMATE this. Is it in a publically available database? available from BT or BT wholesale? I dont want someone to point me to the BT or other peoples checker page, that allows to check a single postcode, I want to know what powers the broadband comparison sites, and enables them to do it automatically! PM me the answer, best and most helpful ones wins $10 paypal. Check my itrader, I can be trusted. Thank you in advance, Charles.
It sounds like you are looking to access a companyies data base for the information you want. That will not be possible. Good Luck on any future answers.
