Contest 10$ fast and simple logo contest. 12 hours. PAYPAL

Hi all.
I need a logo for an off road rally team.
The text should be ”Team FUG”. The only letters that NEED to be capital are FUG.
I would also love to see samples with ”Norway” on the second line.

The logo will probably be used by me on desert brown or blood red backgrounds.
Must be possible to scale up to 1 meter. Transparent background.

I hope to wrap this up within 12 hours, but the contest will last for maximum 24 hours.
Immediate payment to winner by paypal.

kmamaji: I kind of like your logo, but I'm not really sure if this will work for my purpose. My immediate reaction was that it gave me associations to the logo for "Hot Wheels" toy cars. I'm also not sure about putting the emphasis on the word Team.
Wheezer: I like what you did with the flag in Norway. Other than that I feel that there is a little bit too much going on with the colours and fonts.


As I mentioned in my initial posting: I was hoping to finish this within 12 hours, but set a max limit of 24 hours.

Calimero: a clean approach. I don't feel the flames or whatever it is on the T works, especially with this font. The colors will not work for my use: I will be using the logo I choose on sand or red background. With these colors in the logo, parts of it will disappear on the background.

Wheezer: Thank you for adding another sample. Sorry, but there is something about those fonts that doesn't do it for me.

 

Which part of the text? Team I guess?
Just tell me how you want it to be an I'll try better.

 

misterbadz: Tight compact composition. The objects under "Team" gives a hint of motion and tyre tracks. Would it be possible to make them more like tyre tracks?
Different color sceme on the letters maybe?
I also have an issue with the font used: it really brings me associations to the paint company down the street: Flügger (google "flugger" for images, and you see what I mean. )

 

Wheezer: actually both Team and FUG...
Team is difficult to read, and the speed effect on FUG seems to be made by smudging the letters in photoshop?

Neither of the logos were spot on, but I chose the one that I believe has the most potential (in my case) with few adjustments.
