Wow thats quite interesting, I was surprised that some of those were on the banned list. I suppose its because people are constantly digging them.. But i kinda thought that was the idea..
No, it is not that people are digging articles from their sites but most of the articles in some of the sites are useless and don't provide any real value. Also, I don't know about the entire list but I know certain make money site from the list was engaged in dubious practices to gain more digg. Good that they are banned.
A while back I submitted about four articles in one day and I got a warning message that I would be banned for spamming if I did it again.
Thats interesting I knew a few famous ones that were banned but never thought that DP was banned as well.
it only means that..the person behind this social bookmarking sites still checking entries there... interesting...they dont mind whether its a well established one or not..
No wonder. You can even add Wordpress into the list. The reason for Bans is simple. Users spammed hte hell out of Digg with these sites
I really question the value of Digg. They must be really stupid to ban those popular sites with valuable information for readers.
I wonder if enough people reported sites like google, CNN, Yahoo, FoxNews, Youtube,, if digg would ban them also? Or does digg only ban the smaller, privately owned sites? Here is something to try, submit a bunch of youtube videos as spam on digg - and see if digg bans youtube. Now that would be funny.
they ban u from posting but let u login so that they can earn for adverisers.Wonder if digg will ban sites like google and yahoo, lol!
