    Hi
I have a website, which sells some product. I thought to have lots of domain name(for the same site content) to target different keywords so that my site can get good ranking in search engine queries.
I have 10 domains and all are successfully runninng for the last 1.5 years.
Can you please suggest me is it leagal to run more than 1 domains for the same site content?
If search engines find it or track it... will they ban my site?
I also have one more website having 2 domains(same site content)
As all the domains are running for last 1.5 years and give me good traffic, I can not remove them. Is there any way, i can solve this problem?
I will realy appreciate your suggestions.

    Thanks,
    Ashish

You have to be careful doing stuff like that. Google doens't like duplicate content. I don't like the internet cluttering up either - so I'd just recommend you to stay away from this approach.

I'd make each site unique. Each promoting the same product but each with different keywords, layout, sales pitch & text.

Make each site unique or use a robot txt to deny search engine robots.

Or you can make 301 redirect to one of them.

If you are having websites for same theme, but for different keywords then write content blended mainly with the keywords you focussed. If you could sucessfully vary the content then there won't be any problem.
