    Keep going like this.
Go for Quality backlinks and write in Good Local content for your site.

Adam Lasnik (Google Search Evangelist) he says in Google India SearchMasters 2009 held in Bangalore --- write it in Local content for your site.

    ALL THE BEST.

Getting a PR of 0 simply means that your site has been well indexed and that it is ready to climb the ladder up with little bit of effort! :)

Getting it in 10 days is perfectly normal and there is nothing unusual about it!

a PR value doesn't mean much and it does not reflect your ranking in Google at all nor it brings you traffic. So what's good about Google PR? Good to sell links at higher price? That's the reason I can think of..

I agree with you. Nothing to do with PR. I have my 3 years old site having 0 PR but ranks no 1 and no 3 for very high competing keyword. So dont worry about the PR and carry on your work to develop the website.

Be ready that it may take 6 months or so for your new website to get a reasonable PR even if you do get a lot of links pointing at your site. But if you keep building links you might see your PR go from 0 to 5 easily. Just be persistent.
