I would replace 'tell your family' with 'tell your network' - For a business that is on the internet, it is important that you tell your network on the web about your business - it not only is more relevant, but also helps in an instant spreading of the word. Why would grandma care if you tell her you own a web hosting business. Instead, telling it to your 400 Facebook friends could have more viral effect apart from helping you generate a few leads as well.
